Greenery Festive Wreath Workshops 2025
Using UK, locally-sourced, and homegrown materials, learn some top florist tips to make an eco-friendly and biodegradable outdoor wreath.
In this fun winter workshop, you’ll be surrounded by plentiful materials to create a one-of-a-kind wreath, while taking some time out of the silly season busy-ness for a bit of meditative making in a beautiful rural location.
Whether you come with a particular vision or a wide-open mind, you’ll enjoy the rhythmical process of working around the willow circle and leave with a design totally tailored to bring welcome cheer to your home.
Most workshops are 3 hours to allow for detailed instruction, and plenty of time to make and embellish while catching up with friends and enjoying seasonal treats.
Tickets from £50pp to include all materials, tools and refreshments.
Why come to an in-person wreath workshop?
I’ve taught a lot of people how to make a wreath over the past five years. So why come to a workshop rather than just make one at home?
Well aside from a refresher demo and new ideas, it’s also the practicality of having everything you need in one place. While you can make a wreath out of fir alone, the most interesting creations come from the unique combinations of seasonal foliage and decorative materials which people select from the huge range of materials on offer.
Part of the joy of a workshop is gathering with other people to craft together. It doesn’t matter if you’re chatty or introverted, being with other people in a creative environment is a celebratory, festive thing to do, and you can ask for help if you get stuck! Plus, the cake is always homemade and the coffee good.
Fancy something different?
While the first two weeks of the month are normally all about wreaths, further into December, I’m also able to offer group workshops making garlands or table decorations, so if you would like to discuss a private workshop for a weekday or weekend, please do get in touch.
Or if you’d like to talk to me about bespoke workshops in the future, suggestions are always welcome. It’s possible to arrange cutting garden tours and picking sessions, or workshops creating hand-tied bouquets, table centres or dried flower wreaths for example. For examples of previous workshops, please see here.
